Farrah, a teacher, fell in love with Besher, the vet who healed her sick cat. Farrah's feared political persecution. Besher feared conscription, still suffering from shrapnel lodged in his leg. I remember vividly 1000s of Venezuelans streaming to the border to an area with internally displaced Colombians. They were opening their homes to these Venezuelan refugees & migrants. Throughout , the dignity which they show was striking- @RefugeesChief telling @VOANews https://t.co/mMJaE8VRP4
