Many displaced women + girls are skipping meals, kids are being sent to work instead of school and some may have no options but to beg or engage in the sale/exchange of sex to survive. Too many are facing heightened risks of exploitation, trafficking, child marriage and violence.

Over 70% of the world’s displaced come from the most climate-vulnerable countries. The concerns and solutions for displaced people must be given a place not only in discussions at #COP27 but also must receive much more support in climate “hotspots”.
