I’m commenting my own tweet because I said “the Ukraine” like the German “die Ukraine”. My wife (Thanks, Kira!) informed me that the expression was used from enemies of the country to downgrade 🇺🇦 as “just a region, not a country”. It was my mistake and I would like to apologize.
